TY - Talk on Science of the Brain

Many thanks to Dr.Keith Murphy (the incumbent head of the UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences) who gave an extremely informative and educational talk to our Transition Year group last thursday. The theme of the talk was on the Science of the Brain. Topics covered included how the brain works, effects of drugs on the developing brain, neurological diseases and current research into prevention of Alzheimer's Disease.
